Player guide

Everything here is a chat command. Press T on a keyboard, or tap the chat bubble on a tablet or console, then type it. Commands work the same on Java and Bedrock.

first things protecting your build getting around talking if you play on bedrock when something goes wrong

access:

Entry is limited for an event. If you have played here before you are already on the list. If not, email markvd@markvd.net with your in-game name and whether you play Java or Bedrock.

first things

/spawn: Go back to the spawn point. Works from anywhere.
/sethome: Save your current spot as home. Do this the moment you pick a base.
/home: Teleport back to it.
/sethome mine: Save a second, named home. You get three.
/home mine: Go to a named home.
/delhome mine: Delete one.
/back: Return to where you were before your last teleport, or where you died.

Note. Teleports have a short warmup. Standing still matters: taking damage cancels it, so you cannot escape a fight with /home.

protecting your build

golden shovel: Craft one: 1 gold ingot, 2 sticks. This is the claim tool.
right-click 2 corners: Right-click one corner of your area, then the opposite corner. The claim appears.
/trust Steve: Give someone full build access inside your claim.
/containertrust Steve: Chests and furnaces only. No building.
/accesstrust Steve: Doors, buttons and beds only.
/untrust Steve: Take it all back.
/trustlist: See who you have trusted.
/claimslist: List your claims and how many claim blocks you have left.
/abandonclaim: Stand inside it and delete it. Blocks are refunded.

Note. Claims stop other players breaking, building and looting. They do NOT stop PvP. You can still be attacked inside your own base, so build a door you can close.

getting around

/tpa Steve: Ask to teleport to someone.
/tpahere Steve: Ask someone to teleport to you.
/tpaccept: Accept a request sent to you.
/tpdeny: Refuse it.
/warp: List the public warps.
/warp creative: Jump to the creative world. Your survival inventory stays behind.

talking

/msg Steve hello: Private message.
/r hello: Reply to whoever messaged you last.
/ignore Steve: Stop seeing their messages. Use it before you use the report button.
/afk: Mark yourself away so people stop waiting on you.
/list: See who is online.
/rules: The rules, in game.

if you play on bedrock

your name: Shows with a dot in front, like .YourGamertag. That is normal and it is how commands refer to you.
typing commands: Tap the chat bubble at the top of the screen, then type the command starting with /.
coordinates: Already switched on, top left of your screen.
names with spaces: Spaces in your gamertag become underscores in game.

when something goes wrong

griefed or robbed: Tell an operator. Every block placed and broken is logged with who did it, and it can be put back.
lost your stuff: Deaths are not refunded. /back takes you to where you died, so go quickly.
stuck in the ground: /spawn will always get you out.
someone is being awful: /ignore them, then tell an operator. Screenshots help.

Note. Claim your base before you need any of this. A claim prevents the problem; a rollback only cleans it up afterwards.
